The 28th Stars of Tomorrow Gala, a Rochester Broadway Theatre League event that recognizes achievements in high school theatre, featured plenty of talent from Marion CSD.
The event took place May 8 and Marion's production of "Newsies" was honored for excellence in several categories:
- Acting Ensemble
- Vocal Ensemble
- Dance Ensemble
- Backstage Crew
- Set Design
- Theatrical Storytelling and
- Overall Musical Production
In addition, the following Marion performers were recognized for excellence in a leading role:
- Aidan Rittenhouse (Jack Kelly)
- Aaron Meyer (Davey)
- Tobey Roegiers (Crutchie)
- Sean Meyer (Joseph Pulitzer)
- Kaydence Potter (Katherine)
Aidan, Kaydence and Ashlynn Maynard participated in the opening number at the Gala event.
