BOOKED FOR LUNCH

“Hermes here. The Greek god-

No. Don’t put down the book-

I’m talking to you.

I bring you a story that tells

of the quick and the dead:

the tale of a girl as precious as amber,

the tale of a boy as common as clay.”

-AMBER AND CLAY,  by Laura Amy Schlitz

November 2025

November is a funny month.

We are super busy getting ready for the holidays, fighting off colds and trying not to notice how short the days are.

I am always tempted to scroll on my phone those last moments of the day, but truth be told, there is a special peace with reading just 10-15 (no, not 6-7) minutes a night to escape the day. You should give it a try and see if you sleep better.

Happy Reading!

Mrs. Nickel

what about AI?

Is it real?

When navigating the internet the first thing that you need to do is ask yourself these questions:

Who wrote this? Why? What are they trying to make you think?

Now, with AI, it is even harder to tell fact from fiction.

What about AI?
